An annual cultural feast for all, the Shenzhen Intangible Cultural Heritage Week kicked off its fifth session Friday evening, launching 20 intangible cultural heritage projects and staging a stunning show by more than 200 performers from 14 teams.
The 2023 Shenzhen Women's Fashion Micro Marathon kicked off in Dalang Fashion Town in Longhua District yesterday, marking the upcoming International Women's Day that will fall on Wednesday. The micro marathon also raised funds for needy and underprivileged children.
Shenzhen will complete the construction of a 100-kilometer network of ecological walkways this year, according to a work meeting of the Shenzhen Water Affairs Bureau for 2023. By the end of 2022, the city had finished construction of 163 ecological way projects, with a total length of 605.4 kilometers. According to the meeting, the city will also increase the water supply capability by 140,000 cubic meters a day and complete the renovation of worn-out pipelines spanning 63 kilometers.
A total of 20 blocks in nine districts and Dapeng New Area have been selected into Shenzhen's first batch of international blocks, the Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office announced at a title-conferring ceremony held at the Civic Center in Futian District yesterday.
